Let me introduce my siblings...we usually spend this weekend and the first one in April enjoying spiritually uplifting counsel from the leadership of our church--
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The messages are always awesome and miraculously relevant to our daily lives. Growing up we were
encouraged to attend all of the 4 general sessions...with the reward (though the true reward is the increased desire to better oneself--of course!) of a trip to our fav--Las Margaritas. Now I just wish that we lived close enough to allow for a good 'ol Family Mexican meal! It is nice to feel a little connection knowing that where possible we were all 'there' in one spot or another listening together.

i seemed to cry alot this time ... i heard a LOT about families and taking time to be in the moment ... and i LOVED elder Nelson's talk about marriage. but Pres. Monson always takes the cake ... i just love the prophet's closing remarks about how we have been uplifted and truly fed at this conference ... cuz it's always right on! i need to go back and really study some of these talks ... to get the real meat from them ... it's hard to get the meat while i'm spooning the milk to my kids! i need to blog about conference ... thanks for the reminder.
Pres. Monson's...it goes without saying. I loved it because he talked about hope...very comforting in these troubled times. Oh, if we could just revisit those Las Margaritas days once in a while. I miss having all my kids with me. I love it when you can all get together. This is a GREAT pic!
